The project was a result of a collaboration with a Danish design practice - JAC Studios Copenhagen. We have led the workshop that focused on Kunsthal Nikolaj - former Sankt Nikolaj Kirke - 13th century church that has been transformed into an art center.

Tower Bell Point Cloud

The characteristic tower of the church became a landmark for Copenhagen and is visited frequently by both artists and tourists. Despite the fact that the building is open to the broad public and hosts number of international exhibitions in its rooms, some spaces remain inaccessible. We have conducted full documentation of the building using 3D laser scanner ( LIDAR ) that consisted of 40 scanning positions.

By using a noninvasive method we have gained the access to the pipe organ room, the the clock room and the tower bell room - closed to visitors today. Our animation became a unique opportunity for visitors to take a tour/look into spaces that have never been seen previously and experience architecture in an alternative form- penetrating the walls and flying high up above the ground.
